Kildare (county)
I am lookingfor information on my great grandfather James Lawler. He was born in 1826 in County Kildare. He emigrated to the US(Pittsburgh Pennstlvania) where he married and lived until his death in 1894. If you have any information on this family please contact me. Thank you. Lynda Linaugh

My grandfather's name was James and he did live in the Mt. Washington area of Pittsburgh.
The dates you give however don't match what I have; my grandfather was born in June of 1858 (?) in Ireland (no idea where). He supposedly emigrated here with an unknown brother and died here in 1930.
His wife was Elizabeth Fenton, parents were Daniel and Margaret.
Perhaps we're looking for the same people?
