searching for my GGGrandparents William and Elizabeth nee smith,wedlock,left Ireland sometime during the famine of the mid 1840s.At that time they had 3 children,Margaret,Thomas and William.They moved to Scotland.William senior's father,was named John.No mother's name. Any help regarding where in Ireland they are from would be ever so much appreciated.
it's possible that my gggrandparents came from the cavan or kilkenny area.
