Can anyone help with information about my gregregre grandparents Thomas Tole and Selena Macmasters lived in the county Down area maybe Donaghmore or finnard both born in Scotland about 1790,moved to Ireland about 1812 but some of the children were born in Scotland.I think Killmarnock did they die in Ireland ?They were Presbyterians,tollya
I do not know if you are still monitoring this site or in need of information. I am a descendant of Thomas Tole (Toal) who relocated to USA mid 1850s and who settled in Stockton California. Your reference to the Thomas Tole vet and horse trainer for the British military and his wife are my relatives in the direct family chain involving Ireland (County Down) and Scotland. I would love to share information with you. My grandmother was a very active genealogist in the 1960s and kept records of which I have retained. I even have a picture of their home but not its location. Stan Toal
