Wicklow (county)
My great-grandfather was Martin O\'Toole, born around 1860 in Avoca, Wicklow, Ireland to a family of miners. Immigrated to the US late 1880s. He was married to a Catherine Cullen from Manorhamilton, Leitrim; not sure whether they were married in Ireland or in the US.
Martin died in 1908 in a mining accident in Rhyolite Nevada, leaving Catherine to raise 5 children in Denver CO, my grandmother Mary Ann O\'Toole Egan being the eldest.
