A long shot I'm sure, but after many years of searching I have hit a brick wall in trying to find any ancestors of my great grandmother Maria Dowling. According to her marriage cert, & census search she was born in Kildare in 1847, mothers first name was Catherine & her Father (a builder), James, was deceased at the time of her marriage to James McKernan in Dublin in 1875.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction or suggestions of where I might look next would be much appreciated and thank you in anticipation for any help.
