In relation to these,my greatgrandmother Catherine O'Brien was only daughter of William O'Brien and Mary Murphy,she married Patrick Corcoran,Boolteens and had 2 brothers John and Timothy.When Mary Murphy died William O'Brien married Catherine McCarthy and one of this couple's grandsons was a Bishop of Kerry.While there is a detailed Family tree available to me, there are gaps including Anna Daly who is mentioned in this Forum. These O'Briens were supposed to have come from West Limerick but it must be some years earlier as this William was a relation of both of his wifes.Has anyone looked at whether this family related to other O'Briens etc in the Castlemaine area?

It is possible that my O'Sullivan greatgreatgrandmother MaryGriffin McCarthy's nephewMaurice Griffin born 182 married a Mary O'Brien of Ardcanaught in New Zealand,she a sister of Patie O'Brien who left his place to Bryan O'Brien of Keel.

I have looked at Lissavane records as available but cannot see the precise connection.Can anyone help?
