Hi,I have redord of my great grandmother Scard Barr Burgess,born in Londonderry in 1875,her father is named as John Burgess (gentleman) born londonderry around 1850.She went on to marry percival horace sykes in London were she had my grandfather,strathcona wyngrove sykes,both percival and strathcona changed there names to murray.I cannot find anymore about her irish links,or the origins of her unusal name,any help with this would be much appreciated.
