Hi Id like help to find were my G G Grandparents left Ireland from. They lived in Wexford county a small place now called Bunclody his far was between there and Ferns.Henry Seabrook and his wife Elizabeth Jane James and children came to Canada some time around 1849 as there first born in Canada was in 1852 and they had been here for some time so we have been told but would like to know were they sailed from. thanks Arnell
I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THEY WOULD HAVE DEPARTED VIA DUBLIN AS IT IS THE NEAREST PORT OR POSSIBLY CORK.
ELLIS ISLAND HAS A SEARCH ENGINE, WHERE I FOUND SOME OF MY FAMILY. IS THERE ANYTHING SIMILAR FOR CANADA?
GOOD LUCK
