Westmeath (county)
The U.S. gravestone of my ancestor, Peter Moran b. 1836 is badly damaged but appeaars to say he is from Westmarts, Ireland. Is there such a place or should I assume it is Westmeath? His father was named Patrick and his mother Jane Cunhan (again none too legible. Any help appreciated.
