im trying to trace the families of thomas mcdowell 1800 and his wife margaret morrow 1813.the mcdowells farmed at kilrudden clogher were i belive the morrows had land also.their children were.john,andrew,thomas,james,catherine she married samuel stewart,jane she married george young and margaret she married david richardson.
My Grandfather and Great Grandfather were both called Uriah McDowell, born in County Tyrone. My Great Grandfather Uriah married Margaret Caldwell in Ballygawley in 1868. They relocated with their children (including my Grandfather)to Belfast around the end of the 19th century. I believe my Great Great Grandfather was Thomas McDowell who married a Margaret English and they lived in the parish of Errigal Keerogue (Ballygawley). I would like to link up with anyone doing research on the McDowell family of County Tyrone and share information as I understand most of them were related.
