hi iam looking for info on mary jane mckeown born 1876 i would like to know if there are any liveing relitives mary jane was my grandmother she married william lynn in 1902 in portadown i am trying to build a family tree if any one can help no matter how small the info i would be very grateful thank you for your time. michael

My gggrandmother was Sarah McKeown (m James Hamill in Glenavy 1862). Sarah's parents were Arthur McKeown and Mary Jane McKeown. Her siblings were as follows:
William John
Arthur
Margaret
Sussana
Dorothea
Ellen
Esther
Her father, Arthur, died in Ballyutogue, Templepatrick, Co Antrim (2/7/1861). These details were found on a genealogy site called "Rootsweb" on the Hamill message board, in a message dated 2/1/02. Hope this may be of some help. I know the years are a bit out but maybe your Mary Jane was a niece of my gggrandmother, Sarah.

ps Message is in McKeown message board - other names mentioned are Arthur's granddaughters Margaret and Mary Jane Graham, his niece Sarah Jane Kerr and his son-in-law James Watters.
