Trying to find info on my great grand mother or any memeber of her family including her parents the info i have at present my great grand mother names was Mary Goodwin she was born abt 1854/56 in County Tyrone to Patrick Goodwin and Mary Quin there is also a younger daughter Jane .The family settled in Glasgow Scotland .Both Mary and Jane married in 1877 in Glasgow . My great grandmother Mary died in Renfrewshire Scotland and Jane died Glasgow . Both my cousin and i have tried for years to find out where in Tyrone our great grand mother came from but have alway hit brick wall . So if any one can help it would be most welcome .thank you . There is one Patrick Goodwin listed in Tyrone in Griffiths Valuation.
Patrick Goodwin, Carnenny, Desertcreat, Tyrone
The time frame for Griffiths is 1848 to 1864 so it might well be that this Patrick is Mary's father. But you would need to contact the parish in that area to see if there is a birth record for her.
