My paternal grandmother was Mary Anne Mahony, nee McAuley, of Dunlaoghaire. Seems like she married my grandfather in 1874 or thereabouts. She was a native of Tipperary had a nephew William McAuley, 11yrs. living with them and a brother, Bernard McAuley in the Borderers Regiment. He died on Gallipoli with the rank of Captain. Anything on the McAuleys of Tipperary would be appreciated. ***
