I am trying to confirm that my gt grandfather James Clarke (c1855) & his brothers Thomas (1850) & William (1857) sons of James Clarke & Mary (Berkery) were from Cloughjordan. I have a piece of paper that gives William's baptism as 3.5.1857. His Sponsors were John & Judy Heenan (or possibly Keenan-the writing is difficult to decypher) It was signed in 1924 by James, Canon Costigan.The 3 brothers came to England & married here. Thomas & James emigrated to New York c 1883. Any info would be most welcome. I have also found Edward Clarke born 1864 to James & Mary. Thanks Maureen

Yes my father Robert clarke and his brother George clarke from ballaghmore castle roscrea , his father William George clarke married to evlyn greene bought the castle and farm in 1932 and his father William clarke married to Rebecca clarke was from lorrha co.tipperary. Who had 10 kids , robert , elizabeth george john thomas annie willie debra fanny james , All the clarkes in roscrea and money gall where first cousins , James from money gall had 5 kids dick bert (Gilbert) willie Eddie rabbie , Eddie and dick had shops in roscrea, the clarkes in the church of ireland church are related but their is an older gravestone William clarke who not not be . My grandfather William George died when my father was 15 is buried in ettagh near birr where his family had a farm
