Carrigan\McGowan
Hi All,
I am trying to find where my roots are My great great grandparents were Patrick Carrigan a farmer married to Bridget McGowan do not when or where except that it was Ireland. From my Great Grandfathers death certificate this is all the information I can get but on the cencus in Glasgow when he first appears 1901 he is 39 years of age. So therefore using his age he would be born around 1860 in Ireland as by thr time I started my search all the older members of my family have passed on so I cannot ask them for information.
If anyone could help me I have looked at the Griffiths valuations and found 4 Patricks in Roscommon valuations but this does not give the other members of the family unless you can see the full documents.
Thanks in advance
Robert Carrigan

Kerrigans
Do you know if he had a brother John if you look at the Ulster Covenant 2 brothers named Robert and John signed this and gave their address as Glasgow so the Covenant was signed by proxy.John Kerrigan was my great grandfather
John died on the 14th of Dec 1945 aged 77 yrs he was married to Anne Purdie she died on the 15th of Dec 1945 aged 77yrs it states on death cert Catherine Kerrigan prsent and their address as 1281 Duke St Glasgow.
