Any help with my family history would be much appreciated!
My great grandfather's brother James McConnon was born in Ireland and married Mary Finlay in January 1857 in Co. Monaghan. My great grandfather Patrick McConnon was born in Ireland around 1825 and married Mary - surname either Mearns or Marron or Marnes. Both brothers moved to Scotland with their wives. That's all I know at present.

I am also trying to find out about my family I have a Patrick who I think was born about 1807 as his son James was born about 1835 and was married in Scotland in 1860 I can´t find birth certificates for patrick or james. Patrick was married to Mary Murry both deceased when James was married. I know the family originated in Ireland but nothing else
