Mayo (county)
I am trying to find out more about my Great Grandfather, PATRICK MILLET who was born in Ireland in about 1829, possibly in Mayo.He came to England and married Margaret in Neston, Cheshire, England, I dont know their marriage date.Has anyone any ideas how I could go even further back to Patrick's parents. I have come to a dead end with my research. Brenda Allen.
hi my name is mellett and i beliee my family came from mayo,i have john ,a farmer borncirca 1820 his son came to england crca 1850/60 he stayed here and i can trace all his descendants from 1861 his name is james, he married mary barrett from meath,her parents james and francis barrett francis was also called barrett before her marraige to james,cannot find any info about james before 1861 please any help much appreciated
