Louth (county)
hi im looking for my great great grandfathers family in co louth .i found him on a census for co derry in 1901 .he states he was born in co louth 1841 .no placename mentioned any assistance would be greatly appreciated.his name was james ledwidge or maybe john james ledwidge.
Hi, May be of help there is a Ledwidge Cottage (Museum) in Slane Co. Meath on the Drogheda road and it is dedicated to a Francis Ledwidge who lived there and was killed in the First World War, he is a well known poet in Ireland at least.
A Google search should find it, not aware of any people ofhtgat name now in hte area but I am not local.
