hi, my irish ancestors came to america in the 1850's. the name was michael brannigan (sp?). he was married to ellen (a) nugent. they had 3 boys in ireland and a girl and another son in liverpool, england before coming to the u.s. a correspondent wrote me there was a rose anne born in 1843 in ardee r.c. co louth of parents michl branagan and ellen nugent. a marriage between these 2 happened in the same year. i am looking for information and this could be promising. can anyone help? my informant said he got this information at rootsireland.ie. this is probably a long shot but you never know. thanks in advance...ken b.
