James Carroll of Rathkeale, Limerick
My great grandfather was James Carroll b. May 8, 1872 Rathkeale, Limerick (I have been told). He went to NYC, where he met and then married in 1900 Margaret Roche-b. 1875 Abbeyfeale, Limerick.
They had 5 daughters. He passed in Dec of 1917 from the great flu epidemic in NYC. He worked as a Hansom cab driver for a Private family in the Central Park area.
That is all we know of James Carroll right now. He came over to NYC in 1890.
