I am looking for information about any O'Farrells who originated in Upper Grange,
(?Grangesilvia) County Kilkenny. My great-grandfather Michael O'Farrell emigrated to Montreal Quebec in 1842 and his brother John and sister Johanna followed in 1847 and 1851 respectively. I am wondering if there is any information out there about who their parents might have been or if there were any other siblings who may have remained in Ireland.

8 years later but just found this. James (father Michael) and Ellen Farrell (nee Bassett) of Grangesilvia migrated to Australia in 1840s with one child, 13 months, Edward.
