Guinan family
I'm searching for details of my husband's grandmother Kathleen Guinan born c1881, who married William Wallace from Co Mayo. She appears on the 1911 Census in Dublin, and her birthplace is stated as Co Kildare, but I have no other details for her.
Her husband served as a shoeing smith with the 5th Royal Irish Lancers Cavalry during the Great War. After the war they settled in Rochdale, Lancashire.
Any nudges in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for reading.

Kathleen Guinan's father was Patrick Guinan, an undertaker. Unfortunately because the couple were living in York at the time of their marriage, the certificate doesn't specify her home town/village in Kildare.
However, I have found a reference in Griffiths Valuations to property on Dublin Road, Naas.

I've found Kathleen's father Patrick on the 1911 census living in Dublin with his wife of 18 years, Mary Anne, and their four children. Since Kathleen was born in 1880, Patrick must have remarried and started another family.15/07/2011 7:17 pm

Kathleen Guinan had a sister Agnes, also born around 1880, who married Arthur Dear in 1910 in Rochdale, Lancashire. I have sent for the marriage certificate to see if this gives any more clues, but I'm not holding my breath.
A cousin remembers Kathleen telling her that she had a sister and two brothers, and that the children were brought up in a convent after their mother was run over and killed by a horse-drawn vehicle. One of the brothers was killed in his teens in an accident at the biscuit factory where he worked.

Re: Guinan family
Unfortunately Agnes Guinan's marriage certificate just states that she came from Ireland, so no clue there. However, I have established that Kathleen was baptised in Naas on 9 Dec 1880, daughter of Patrick Guinan and Catherine Dillon. Patrick was the son of "Jacobi" Guinan (can mean James or Jacob) and Catherine was the daughter of Mathias Dillon. They were married on 28th May 1874 at St Audoen, Dublin, Witnesses Joannes Bradford & Bridgida Phair.
This means that the Patrick Guinan I found on the census is not the same person because the marriage record for that Patrick Guinan names a different father.
The children of this marriage are:
James Joseph bpd 03 Nov 1874 at St Catherine, Dublin
Mary Jane bpd 07 Jul 1876 at St Audoen, Dublin
Agnes born about 1877, no baptism record found.
Patrick bpd 16 Nov 1878 in Naas
Kathleen bpd 09 Dec 1880 in Naas
If anyone can help me go back a generation and find Jacobi Guinan and Mathias Dillon,or establish what happened to Patrick Guinan after his wife's death, I'd be enormously grateful.
