I am trying to trace my Kennedy ancestors. The amount of information I have to go on is very small. All I know is...
(1)Mary Roach married John Kennedy probably some time during the mid 1800s. I do not know what county they were from but they were born in Ireland.
(2) They had at least one son, James Kennedy born around 1868. He left Ireland for America and married a woman called Sarah Magee (originally from Co Fermanagh) in Boston in September 1889. They had two children, James and Rose Kennedy, both born in Boston around 1890/91. The family story - which could be wrong - was that James died in America. Either way, Sarah returned to Fermanagh with her two kids in 1899/1900. Can anyone help?
