We are looking for a Thomas McBride who had a son called Hugh McBridewe think they possiably came from Donegal but this could be wrong.
We have traced Hugh to the 1901 census in durham living with an isac Boal and his family who also came from Ireland and we beleive they are relations of some sort to McBride.
If anyone is working along the same lines, or maybe able to help with this Irish conection it would be much appreciated.
I stay in Scotland and regulary visit the GRO in Edinburgh and would be willing to reciprocate any help by doing lookups.

I am searching for info on Elizabeth McBride born in Ireland who married Alexander McIntire born in Scotland. Old family letters say they were cousins. They came to America in abt 1795 and settled in Lancaster Co. PA then moved on to Fairfield, Ohio.
