Searching for a John Quin and his daughter Mary Quin 1840ish. She ran away with Peter Slater and settled in Tynemouth/N.Shields
I was born and grew up in North Shields/Tynemouth/Northumberland have you any more on John and his daughter Mary names that abound in my branch of the Quinn's .....
Tyneside abounds with Quinn's they started coming in the 1841 census or before and they continued to come from mostly the Historic Ulster of 9 Counties ......even the one's who thought they were from Clare turned out to be from near to Clare Armagh

i have a Mary Quin(n) born in Ireland who moved to Glasgow with husban Bernard McDonald. They first appear in the Scotland Census about 1851. Mary disappesrs from Scotland's Records very soon after even though Bernard McD is recorded until his death in the Glasgow Poor House aged 60. I wander if Mary Quin returned to Ireland or some other location known to someone out there? Thanks
