Egan, O'Toole, Leahy, Keefe, Cullen, McMorrow
Looking for Eagan or Egan from Tipperary; O'Tooles from Avoca, Wicklow; Leahy from Thurles, Cork; McMorrow from Manorhamilton, Lietrim; Cullens and Keefes not sure where they came from in Ireland but they are all part of my ancestors now.
Most came over to the US in 1850-1880s like most of Ireland it seems. Martin O'Toole came over about 1880, Denis Leahy came over earlier, he was in California by 1825.

My Great Gf was James Cullen born 1857 in Co. Wexford, he came over to England sometime before the 1881 census, where he appears as an assistant in the observatory at Stonyhurst College (Jesuit College for boys) He lodged with a family in the village of Hurst Green, Clitheroe, Lancashire. His descendants (and me)still live in Clitheroe. Have only just found out his father was Peter Cullen probably also from County Wexford. My Grandma used to tell me that some of the Cullen family had emigrated to America. Not much info I know, but it may be of some help. If find any more out will advise.Susan
