Looking for any Family Connections to either of these Familys that lived in James Street or Grand Canal.
My Great Grand Father Joseph Slevin was Born to Sussanah Healy and Michael Slevin in 1865 they were married in 1864 in St James Catholic Church James Street Sussanhs Father was john Healy Occupation Blacksmith
and Michael Slevin gives His Occupation as a Harness Maker his Father was Joseph Slevin Occupation Farmer.

I was just scrolling through and found your posting.
My Suffren family lived in Grand Canal St/St James and some were baptised in the St James Catholic church. In the later 1850's Anne Suffren married a Thomas Fox and they had 2 children I can find, Eliza and James, I think.
I wonder whether these are any connection to your family.
I have never found any other references to this address. Rose and David Suffren are buried in the St JAMES COI, which used to be a lighting shop. Who were the witnesses at any of your events??
Any similarities?
