Hi I am trying to trace my gtgrandmother , margaret murphy ,
She was born in Dublin 1869 , and for reasons unknown she turns up in York England there she married Thomas Carass a british soldier abt 1890, they had two children ,Thomas born abt 1898 and Hannah born abt 1892 , her husband died and Margaret brought her young children back to Dublin.
After that i've lost margaret and Hannah , I know Thomas was a Dublin docker and lived in Kildare rd Crumlin Dublin 12, and died in the 1950s, Looking for a Murphy in Dublin is like like looking for a needle in a haystack , can anyone help me ? Cheers.
