I am trying to trace a Margaret Jane Brown b abt 1854 and Hugh Patton b abt 1859. In the 1881 census in Barony Glasgow they had a son William James Paton[Patton] b abt 1878/79. I believe Margaret Jane Brown came from the Donnaghadee area. Any help appreciated.
My grt grandfather David Patton b 1854 I think in Carrickananny Armagh father Hugh moved to Lanarkshire 1880?He married Mary taylor in Ballymower Armagh. Any connection to your family ?
