Dennis McCarthy married Catherine Daly (of Cork, Ireland)in Washington, DC and Dennis McCarthy died in 1874 in Washington, DC. Dennis McCarthy and Catherine Daly had these children: Mary Anne, Timothy D., Catherine, Jeremiah, Dennis, and JoAnna. Jeremiah McCarthy and Sarah Deery had these children: James T., Catherine E., Nellie J., Dennis J., William R. and Francis J.. Dennis J. McCarthy and Nellie L. or aka Ellen L. Sparshott (or Sparshat) had these children: Joesph H., Robert E., Patricia J., Harry D. or aka Donald, Mary Ann, John F, and William R. and Jerry F. McCarthy. Dennis may have been born in Mallow or Skibbree, Cork County, Ireland.
