Seeking any information about my ancestors, Geoghan and McCulloch.
My gt grandfather Ezekiel McCulloch may have been born in Cork abt 1832/7, I do not know when he arrived in Scotland, I traced him there on the 1881 census living in Rutherglen with his wife Caroline nee Fraser, and family.
Before then he had been living in Tradeston Glasgow, he married Caroline Fraser there in 1862.
I am seeking any information on my gt grandfather Stephen Geoghan (son of Lawrence Geoghan) again I have no idea of where he was born, abt 1841 in Ireland is the only information I have. He married in 1866 to Louisa Paddison in Stafford, in 1881 Louisa her children were in the Stoke on Trent workhouse, possibily Stephen had returned to Ireland? Louisa remarried in 1885 stating she was a widow.
In 1901 Stephen appeared on the census for Liverpool, and he died there in 1919.
Had Louisa been informed he had died in Ireland?
If anyone knows anything about these famlies, any information would be most appreciated.
