Connor/O'Connor and Dooley of Ballinhassig
Timothy Connor/O'Connor b. ~1857 emigrated to U.S. ~1880, married Kate Connor/O'Connor of Cloonlogher, Kerry ~1886 in San Francisco. Moved to Leadville, Colorado ~1888. Brother Jeremiah also in same area of Colorado. Timothy died 1934 Salt Lake City, Utah - mentioned survivor is sister Mary Dooley in Ireland. Descendants in US pretty well researched but seeking connection in Ireland. Perhaps other brothers in Timothy's family - Cornelius, John (Jack). 1901/1911 Census find John/Mary Dooley of Ballinagrumoolia (near Ballinhassig) - a likely candidate for sister. Mary's likely marriage certificate 1890 Ballygarvan (The Mountain parish) mentions same name for father as Timothy records indicate - Daniel profession laborer - possibly died ~1896(possible mother name - Mary). John/Mary Dooley 1901 Census - 3 children: Ellen 10, Daniel 8, John 6. 1911 Census - Dooley children are not listed but 3 marked as still living. Visiting Cork in Oct.29/09/2009 7:18 pm

1911 Census - Dooly children
I believe I found the children in the 1911 Census:
Daniel (18) and John (16) are listed with John and Mary's previous 1901 landowner - George Rice - in Rathnacullig West, Killanully. Perhaps they went to work on the Rice farm to pay off the land in Ballinagrumoolia.
Ellen (20) appears to be a farm servant on the widow farmer - Honoria Bowen's farm - in Ballygarvan, Carrigaline.
Civil registration may possibly indicate that Daniel dies around 1919?
Does this ring any bells for anyone knowing about this Dooley/Dooly family?
