Clare (county), Kilmanaheen (civilparish), Fahanlunaghta More (townland)
I am look for information of the Burke family who lived in Fahanlunaghta More, Kilmanaheen, Co. Clare. My gg grandfather Michael Burke was born in Clare around 1850 emigrated to Queensland Australia, possibly in the 1870's. I do not know if he emigrated with any family members
His parents were Thomas Burke and Mary Kealy. According to Griffith's Valuation a Thomas Burke did lease land in Fahanlunaghta More in 1855 and according to the 1901 Census there was a Burke family headed by a James living in Fahanlunaghta More.
Any information would be appreciated
