Cavan (county)
My great grandfather John Sheridan I believe came from Cavan but moved to Castlederg, Co. Tyrone at some time. His wife may have been Alice and his father James and they were in the cattle trade. I know this is sketchy but if anyone knows anything relating to this family, I would love to hear from them. My grandfather was James who married Mary Donnelly of Fintona and they moved to Glasgow, Scotland sometime after their marriage in 1885.
