Hi,
We are seeking further information on the McGerty family.
Francis and Catherine McGerty left Ireland for Glasgow in 1881 approx. Francis parents are listed as Michael (a farmer) and Bridgit McGerty on his Scotish death certificate.
Michael McGerty is listed on Griffith's Valuation at "Drumcalpin Annagh Cavan" so it seems likley that this is the correct Michael McGerty, locating my ancestors in the Cavan area.
Does anyone else have a connection to any of the McGertys listed above?
