Hi everyone, does anyone have any information about the above.I know it is a common name, this is making it all the more difficult.They moved to england before the 1851census.They had 7 children at that time.elizabeth 25 john 21 jane 19 william 16 joseph 13 sarah 11 & james 5years old.when did they come to england?why? where did they marry? who were there parents? any info would be fantastic to find out kind regards brenda
I can't really help,but I am looking for John Wedlock,who married Mary Murphy,their son William,born 1818-21 who married Elizabeth Smith,had 3 children,then moved to Scotland about 1849-50 due to the famine. As you say,Murphy isn't half popular,but who knows?Indications seem to show they were from Co.Cavan.I can not find marriages for either couple but still trying
