I am not having much success in finding any information on Joseph Sproul who married Annie Whitfield according to their surviving grand-daughter. That is all the information she was able to provide. Joseph and Annie had a child born in 1918, 2nd quarter, Belfast. Her name was Joan Ure Sproul;she married Thomas Gilmore. I have a feeling that Ure may be a surname somewhere in her lineage.
I am hoping someone can help me.
