I am searching for more information on my direct ancestor Moses Kelly born in 1695 in Antrim and married Mary Spencer in abt 1713. He died at sea in Indonesia in 1733 or 34 and she immigrated to the US (Pennsylvania, Bucks Co.) in 1723 and remarried in 1733 to John Means, also from Ireland. His full name is Moses John Kelly and he had 7 kids. I am interested in any data that might be useful. I realize the data that far back is scarce. Anyone who may be related some how could have more than me and would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, my name is Theresa Kelley. I am also a direct descendant of Moses John Kelly and Mary Spencer. How do you know that Moses died at sea in Indonesia? Did he die on the trip to America with his family or was he alone? I have tried to find information on his life and so far just have his vital statistics. Some people say he died about 1730, 1733 or 1734. Did you find the ship he was on? Do you know who his parents were?
