Thomas Patrick Gregory

I am also trying to trace an irish ancestor with the same surname. He is my ggrandfather Thomas Patrick Gregory born in Ireland around 1890 and then moved to South Africa. Supposedly from Donegal but no proof on that just hearsay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
