Wexford (county)
My great uncle Patrick Dempsey was born in Larestown Co Wexford - according to a copy of his birth certificate. I can't find Larestown or Lares Town - does anyone know where it was?
Apparently Larestown underwent many changes in spelling over the years. The Irish Law Times edition of March 30, 1872 refers to this townland to now be known as Laurstown. Laurstown is comprised of 169 acres - in the Barony of Forth, St Peter's Parish in County Wexford. Hope this helps.
