I'm new to this forum and site but I hope I can find what I'm looking for. My Great Grandfather name was John Lannon. I'm not sure just where in Irland he came from, (B:1836) but my cousin told me that her mother use to say that the "Lannon's" were from Meath or West Meath. I seem to recall that my father said that he thought the Lannon's were from Roscommon. If anyone has any informaion on the Lannon surname in thise counties I'd appreciate hearing about it
