Am trying to trace information on my mother's family - the McGrorys.
My Gr-g-g grandfather was Patrick McFadyen (McFadden) who was born in Ardstraw Tyrone in either 1810 or 1827 dependant on which record you believe. He was married to Sarah McHugh (McCue) and his daughter Jane married my Gr-g-grandfather, Hugh McGrory in Glasgow in 1873. Patrick stayed with the family until his death as he was already a widower. His wife is believed to have died around 1850 in the Glasgow area.
Hugh McGrory is believed to come from Donegal.
Any help would be much appreciated as I've come to a standstill on the Irish connections.
