friel
Hi MN,my grandfather James Friel is in the 1901 census, age 39 yrs, occupation given as a boiler maker, also listed as his wife is a Sophie Friel aged 45 yrs born in Spondon Derbyshire but cannot find any marriage records.perhaps they married in ireland before he came to england.he married my Grandmother Eliza Hacket in London 1903!!! he still gave his age as 39yrs so that would make his true age to be 41!!!his father was a Hugh Friel. i would be grateful for any more info. in the 1891 english census i have since found another James Friel 38yrs also a boilermaker also married/living with a Sophia Friel
born in spondon Derbyshire, could they be the same people??????
