Looking for info on Thomas Markley. I am trying to find out where in Ireland he came from. I believe he emigrated at the beginning of The Great Hunger as records show him being in Portland, Maine in 1846.
The Markley name is pretty uncommon in Ireland and Griffith's valuation show them pretty much all in Tipperary. Any info ??
