I'm searching for records of my great-grandmother Mary Ellen Hayes, born about 1830 in South Tipperary but in Waterford Diocese. Her parents were Patrick Hayes, farmer, and Mary O'Neil. Her family must have had a presence in and around Carrick-on-Suir, because she travelled there from Australia and gave birth to my grandfather Patrick Morgan in 1864 at Carrickbeg. Any information on her birth record or that of her siblings would be welcomed, plus anything on any surviving descendents.
