Hi , I am looking for a needle in a haystack ( well thats what it feels like ) my great grandmother was Maria Gilligan , born 1861 some where in Ireland !! , she left Ireland to live in England , married a chap ( my great grandad) George Vale of Croydon England , Maria had eight children , George, Percy, Alfred, Mary,Sydney, Flory, Maria, and my grandad Edward , in the 1901 cenus they where all living in Croydon in England . I cant find a death cer for her so not sure if she went back to Irlend and died there, I know nothing about her or her family and am hoping some one out there might just remember a Maria Gillian who married an English chap and had eight kids .
