Cavan (county), Kinawley (civilparish)
I am looking for information or connections to either family name McCaffrey and or McNally in Monaghan. I know for certian that an elder sister Sarah McCaffrey of my GG Grandmother Anna (1836)was born in
Monaghan around 1830 to James McCaffrey and probably my GGG Grandmother Elizabeth McNally ( but may be an other mother . McNally is on my Anna's Death Record. I know Sarah, Anna and another sister Elizabeth immigrated to NYC in the mid to late 1840's, and I believe James and Elizabeth may have too. There is a link to a Hugh who resided in Kinawley Fermanagh/Cavanwho was in NYC by 1849 and his brother Patrick whom had set off for St.Louis shortly after.
