My Irish Ancestors:
1. Walter Macloughlin MacSweeney was born about 1600, lived, died, and was buried in Fanad, Tir Chonaill (Donegal), Ireland.
2. Loughlainn (Leath) MacSweeney was born about 1621 in Fanad, Tir Chonnail. He died about 1668 and was buried there.
3. Loughlin Garve MacSweeney was born about 1645 in Fanad, Donegal.
Moved about 1668 to Ballycroy, Co. Mayo where he died about 1700 and was buried.
4. Manus Duff MacSweeney was born about 1670 in Ballycroy, Co. Mayo, married about 1700. He died about 1730 and was buried in Ballycroy, Co. Mayo.
5. Loughlin MacSweeney was born 1710, married about 1740, died about 1770, and was buried in Ballycroy, Co. Mayo.
He had the following children: John Neal MacSweeney and Emon Roe MacSweeney
6. John Neal MacSweeney was born in 1757 in Mayo, Ireland. He married Sara unknown in 1777 and had 2 boys and 4 girls. After his first wife died, he married Kimberly Rogers about 1790. He left his 6 children in Ireland and migrated with his second wife in 1792 to Fayette City near Pittsburgh, PA. He died in 1838 in OH.
I would like to find out what happened to John Neal’s 6 children left behind and to his brother, Emon Roe.
