I am searching for any information on my paternal ancestor John Mannion origins - he married Bridget Kirby (Teacher at Murneen National School) in 1873 at Kilcolman RC Parich Church, and they had 12 children, my ggrandmother, Kate Mannion Keane amongst them. She married James Keane in 1880. I cannot find any record for John Mannion that's consistent with his life in Cuiltybo Mayo. Kate Mannion keane lived in Barnycarroll after my ggrandfather's death, so there may be a link there?Any help would be very gratefully received.
