hennessy of ballintober
The Griffith's land valuation of the 1850's shows a Richard Hennessy in Ballintober townland,Darragh civil parish-this would be in the Catholic parish of Glenroe/Ballyorgan,near Kilfinane in south east of county Limerick. There were at least five other Hennessy households in the townland at that time.09/05/2007 12:49 am

Do you know where in Australia Patrick Hennessy ended up? There were a number of Hennessy families in the Northam area of Western Australia.28/08/2009 5:38 pm

Hennessy family, Glenquin area
Am searching for Jeremiah Hennessy born c 1863, married to Ellen Hartnett. James was born to them at Gortnacrehy (?) in 1882. He had 9 children born at Glenquin before moving to Sixmilebridge, Co.Clare around 1920's. Don't know of any other siblings although a Michael Hennessy was a witness at their wedding.
Anyone out there searching the same line of Hennessy's??
Regards, Olwen
